    I keep waiting for Peacock to join the ranks of the elite streaming services, but all that does is leave me in a state of perpetual waiting. For now, Peacock appears content with live sports, NBC shows, Universal movies, and the occasional Peacock original until it figures things out, making it more of a home for Chicago Fire on the go instead of a destination to find your next favorite new show.

    Last year, fans of cop shows celebrated when Peacock announced it would stream the complete series of Homicide: Life on the Streets, which is widely considered to be one of the greatest police dramas ever made. Prior to that, fans had to watch the series on DVDs (gasp!) as it was not available on streaming. Now Tubi is joining the party, as the Emmy- and Peabody-winning series based on David Simon's book joins the ad-supported service as one of the new TV shows and movies coming to Tubi in June.
