Canada is poised to launch several spot Solana exchange-traded funds on Wednesday, according to a bank circular cited by Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas. Balchunas shared a screenshot of a circular from Canada’s TD Bank on X, which stated that the Ontario Securities Commission has approved the "world’s first" spot Solana ETFs, issued by Purpose, Evolve, CI and 3iQ. They are expected to launch on April 16, according to the post.

South Korea's top financial regulator has blocked 14 crypto platforms — including KuCoin and MEXC — from Apple's App Store as the country tightens its oversight of the nascent industry. In a statement released Monday, the Financial Services Commission said that Apple had blocked domestic access to apps of 14 "unregistered" foreign crypto services providers starting from April 11 at the request of the Financial Intelligence Unit.

This boosted its total holdings to 4,525 BTC — acquired for about $386.3 million at an average price of $85,366.

U.S. prosecutors said they have no plans to modify the charges against Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon after the Department of Justice sent out a staff memo saying it won't pursue prosecution against crypto firms. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche issued a memo on Monday, instructing DOJ staff to refrain from pursuing prosecution targeting crypto firms such as exchanges and mixing services, except under special circumstances.
