DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- As of Thursday, September 12th, the latest Drought Monitor reveals that drought conditions have worsened across Ohio, with the entire Miami Valley now experiencing moderate to severe drought. Recent weeks of persistent warmth and dry weather have exacerbated the situation. In the Miami Valley, Mercer, Darke, and Preble counties are now 100% under moderate drought. Champaign, Clark, Greene, and Clinton counties are fully engulfed in severe drought.
