Fires in the state’s west have burned through more than 14,000ha, Premier Jacinta Allan has confirmed. It comes as an emergency warning prompting residents to evacuate and several ‘not safe to return’ level warnings remain in place for dozens of small towns situated between Ballarat and Maryborough in the state’s west.
