More than 2,000 universities from across the world have submitted data to Times Higher Education to participate in the 2024 edition of the Impact Rankings. This represents an increase of 26 per cent compared with last year’s participation numbers – the highest jump in three years. With 1,053 universities submitting data, Asia is the biggest player in these rankings, which measure university performance against the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
World University Rankings 2025: time to submit your data

The data portal for the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 is now open, with institutions from across the world invited to take part. Interested universities can now submit data to be included in the flagship league table, which will be published in October 2024. The portal will be open for more than three months, closing on 30 March. There are no fees to participate but only institutions that submit data through the portal will be included in the table.

The year will kick off with a league table of the world’s most international universities on 24 January. Soon after, on 13 February, the results for the World Reputation Rankings 2023 will be released at the MENA Reputation Forum (the 2024 edition of this table will come later in the year).
