I believe it was the Autumn of 2000. Straight up party band with some very interesting and high-energy jamming. This is an entirely different band. Sean Lennon has taken over on guitar, and Harry Waters on keyboards. Mike Dillon remains on percussion, and Skerick is still shredding away on sax.

TJ McGlinchey, MFA, MAEIt was a gloomy Thursday night in Philadelphia when I parked my car on North 7th Street to attend a concert by British rockers The Darkness at Franklin Music Hall. The show was to start right at 9:00 PM. I missed the opening duo Paris Monster, but I was there in time to hear their last few chords ringing out. A friend had tagged along, and they went to the bar back and forth while I geeked out nearly the entire show.

It’s almost comparable to Christmas morning when you’re opening your presents. This past summer, I got to experience that for the first time in a while with Don Broco. They were one of the supporting bands on tour with The Used and Pierce The Veil.
