    A man and woman arrested as police investigate the death of a baby girl in Oldham have been bailed. Greater Manchester Police have stressed detectives are not treating the case 'as a murder or homicide investigation'. The force said on Tuesday (February 12) a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s had been bailed. They were detained on suspicion of neglect after a baby girl was found dead on Sunday (February 9).

Images show a line of Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance service vehicles along Victoria Avenue this morning (Saturday, February 1). Firefighters were also at the scene. The nature of the incident is not yet clear.
