At its winter board meeting in February, the college's Board of Trustees approved a resolution to name the Administration Building, which was built in 1847, after Capp, who has embodied the college's mission through his lifetime of service, learning and leadership.

    A Fairlawn man died in two-vehicle crash on Virginia 114 (Peppers Ferry Road) in Pulaski County on Monday, according to state police.
