If you are going to be out and about cheering on the Pacers or just hanging out in your backyard, the skies will be clear, and temperatures will slowly fall back into the upper 60s and eventually drop into the 50s this evening. It will be cool again overnight, with temperatures in the low 40s for many of us.

Once the rain subsides, skies will clear, setting us up for a chilly overnight period, during which some northern locations may see temperatures drop to the upper 30s. Most of us, however, will be in the low to mid 40s. We will warm up quickly after the chilly start on Friday, reaching highs of around 70°.

SOME AREAS IN THE 30'sGREAT LOOKING MOTHER'S DAY WEEKENDThursday will bring the chance of storms back to the area on a spotty basis in the afternoon. The best chance for storms will be south of I-70, and we are not expecting severe weather. However, the storms have the potential to move very slowly, so some very localized flooding may be possible. Highs will be closer to 70° with the added cloud cover. Friday morning will be cool.
There will be plenty of sunshine over the coming days, with temperatures at or above normal.

The further south you are, the better chance you will have of seeing a few storms. While not widespread, any storms that do form have the potential to produce damaging winds, hail, and perhaps even an isolated tornado. The severe threat should diminish as we approach midnight.
