The good news is that we will stay dry for any outdoor plans. Temperatures on Wednesday will climb back into the mid to upper 80s for afternoon highs before a cold front moves in from west to east across the state in the evening hours. With the frontal passage will come the chance of some strong to severe storms.

We will remain mild and clear through the evening hours, with temperatures slowly falling back into the mid-70s as the evening progresses. Temperatures on Tuesday will climb into the upper 80s for most, with some reaching even 90°. The warmer temperatures will be in the north, where less rain has fallen in recent weeks.

In fact, a few heavier areas of rain will be possible overnight, especially south of I-70. Severe weather isn't expected, but a few areas could experience gusty winds. Any heavier and more widespread rain will move out by morning, and much of the day will be dry.

HeadlinesPATCHY FOG POSSIBLE OVERNIGHTRAIN CHANCE THROUGH FRIDAY MORNINGSUNNY & SEASONABLE WEEKEND AHEADWith the exception of a spotty shower this evening, most of us will be dry, with cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. After midnight and overnight, there is the potential for some patchy fog. Any fog that does form should quickly dissipate during the morning. Most of our Thursday will be dry.

Jackets will be needed on Friday morning, as some areas to the north and west will start the day in the 30s. Most of us will be in the low 40s.
