    The BMW Charity Pro-Am week began on June 2 with the golf tournament to be played from June 5 to 6 at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg and from June 5 to 8 at the Thornblade Club in Greer. Celebrities will walk the red carpet in downtown Greenville, between Court Street and Broad Street, directly outside City Hall, at 5:30 p.m. on June 4. This is an excellent opportunity for fans to see their favorite stars, ask for an autograph, or take a selfie.

    This is Southside Christian's fourth consecutive state title and first in Class AAA. Carson Boleman, a junior committed to Wake Forest, allowed only one base runner on an error in the sixth inning. Carson Boleman pitched a no-hitter and got 19 of the 21 outs by strikeout as Southside Christian baseball beat Oceanside Collegiate 3-0 on May 28 for the Class AAA high school state championship at Sabre Park.

    Summerville softball is undefeated and one victory away from winning its third consecutive high school state championship. But that’s not the most impressive part. The Green Wave (33-0) have won 83 consecutive games, dating back to a 2-1 loss to Byrnes on March 18, 2023. Those two teams are vying for the Class AAAAA Division 1 state championship, and Summerville won the first game of a best-of-three series, 3-0, at home on May 26.
