    The BMW Charity Pro-Am week began on June 2 with the golf tournament to be played from June 5 to 6 at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg and from June 5 to 8 at the Thornblade Club in Greer. Celebrities will walk the red carpet in downtown Greenville, between Court Street and Broad Street, directly outside City Hall, at 5:30 p.m. on June 4. This is an excellent opportunity for fans to see their favorite stars, ask for an autograph, or take a selfie.

    Carson Bolemon of Southside Christian has been named 2025 Gatorade South Carolina Baseball Player of the Year. Bolemon pitched a no-hitter with 19 strikeouts on May 28 in the Class AAA high school state championship game against Oceanside Collegiate, leading Southside Christian (32-2-1) to its fourth consecutive state title. He had a one-hitter in his previous start, a win against Chapman in the Upper State finals.
