What began as small group, underground sessions addressing the intersection of faith, culture, and politics has evolved into an annual weekend conference. From January 31 through February 2, 2025, Millington Baptist Church will host its second "CONTEND" Conference.

On November 16, 2024, Joe walked 32 miles (one mile for each anniversary they would have celebrated) through Wayne, Paterson, Clifton, and other towns. In addition to honoring the memory and life of Marianne, the Legacy Walk is a fundraiser for Legacy Minded Ministries, where Joe serves as vice president.
