    An email search informs me that I’ve been contributing to New Philosophermagazine for a decade, now, almost to the day. If you don’t know it, it’s a lovely ad-free quarterly, with each issue themed around a single word. Quite a bit has happened to me over the last ten years, not least my son and daughter, and reflections on family and parenthood have increasingly found their way into my writing—something that, I think, has challenged and deepened my relationship with philosophy.
