    When veteran guards Landan Burchard and Jett Hancock take the court next winter for Puxico High School, it will certainly bring some comfort to the Indian fan base.     The Bell City High School varsity boy’s basketball program has methodically climbed from 10 wins over six seasons (2018-2023) to 22 victories over the past 24 months, but those within the program are not satisfied. “Being the summer,” fourth-year Cubs coach Luke Bixler said, “right now, I just want to see us play hard.”That hasn’t been difficult for Bixler to get his kids to do since he arrived in the fall of 2022.
