    Tonight, smoke and haze. Frost inland away from the Great Lakes. Low temperatures will range from the 20s to around 30 for some inland areas to 30s to around 40 near the Great Lakes. West to northwest to north to northwest wind 5 to 15 MPH. Sunday, smoke and haze is possible. Otherwise, partly cloudy to mostly sunny. High temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s, 70s to around 80 near the Michigan/Wisconsin border, locally cooler near some shorelines of the Great Lakes.

    Dry weather is expected this weekend with cooler temperatures for the first half of the weekend. Temperatures will start to warm up as we get to Sunday afternoon with some inland areas west of Marquette possibly around 80. There is a chance some smoke and haze could linger through the weekend.

    Wildfire smoke from the Canadian Prairies will affect the U.P. through at least early Saturday morning. Temperatures the rest of the afternoon will be in the 60s and 70s with hazy sunshine and gusty winds. Rain chances will be decreasing the rest of the day. Chilly temperatures are expected tonight. From Michigan EGLE This cold front may touch off some rain showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Behind the cold front, temperatures will turn cooler for the weekend. Chilly temperatures are expected during the early morning hours on Saturday and Sunday.
