Great Britain delivered a strong performance at the EJU Velika Gorika Get Together Tournament over the weekend, finishing third in the overall standings with a total of 16 medals: nine gold, two silver, and five bronze. British judoka earned multiple podium finishes across junior and senior divisions in Croatia, with notable success in all categories. In the SEN L2 Men’s categories, Braydon Robus secured first place in the -60 kg division, while Sean Allan took the gold in the -73 kg division.

Kicking off the squad in Kazakhstan, Ethan Nairne (Bradley Stoke) returns to action for the first time in a month. He last placed 7th at the Dubrovnik Senior European Cup and is aiming to put himself on the podium in the -73kg category. Max Gregory (Drake Judo Club) will line up in the -100kg division.

Emma Reid (Redbridge) stole the show for Great Britain once again, continuing her outstanding run of form by claiming gold in the -78kg category at the Dushanbe Grand Slam. The experienced judoka was in commanding form throughout, showcasing her class as she cruised to the top of the podium with ease, winning every contest by Ippon to take her second Grand Slam Gold medal.
