JTP-designed scheme replaces plans for carehome on site of demolished Homebase store Bath council has approved plans by HUB and Bridges Fund Management for a 450-home mixed use development on the site of a former Homebase store in the city. Designed by JTP Architects, the Pines Way scheme will provide 275 build-to-rent homes and 179 co-living homes alongside 1,100 sq m of commercial space.

Stocktons scheme to include two buildings of 50 and 26 storeys containing office space and 758 apartments Simpson Haugh has submitted plans for yet another residential tower scheme in Manchester consisting of two buildings rising to 50 and 26 storeys. The Stocktons scheme has been designed for developer Liquid Funding Business and would contain 758 build-t-rent apartments and 45,000sq ft of commercial space.

Scheme branded as making a “total mockery” of council’s tall buildings policies Terry Farrell’s proposals for a 29-storey mixed-use tower at the southern end of Battersea Bridge have been resoundingly refused by Wandsworth council’s planning committee. Councillors unanimously rejected developer Rockwell’s controversial 110-home Glassmill scheme at a committee meeting yesterday evening following a discussion lasting just over an hour in which no councillor voiced support for the plans.
