Change was already coming to Suburban One League high school baseball. The SOL athletic directors/principals voted to switch from schools playing 10 divisional games and six crossover contests to 10 and three this spring, which would mean seven non-league games that essentially don’t matter.

The 16-0 victory over Roman Catholic on March 31 improved DiGuiseppe's career record to 200-76.

Former Archbishop Wood basketball star Jalil Bethea is transferring to Alabama after spending his college freshman season at Miami. Bethea, a 6-foot-5 guard, announced the move via Instagram on Sunday. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.1 rebounds and started 16 of the 31 games in which he appeared for the Hurricanes in 2024-25.
