Four years later, Smith became the Lions’ football coach when he was confirmed at Thursday night’s New Hope-Solebury School Board meeting. Smith, 46, was DiTulio’s run game coordinator for the final six (2015-20) of DiTulio’s 14 years as the school’s first football coach.

Central Bucks South completed the 2024 high school football season allowing 7.6 points per game, making it the only Class 6A team to give up fewer than 10. Senior end Eddie Bowen was a big part of the Titans' stellar defense, accumulating 75 tackles, including team-highs in tackles for loss (18.5) and the single-season school record in sacks with 12, surpassing linebacker Matt Tobey's 7.5 in 2017. "Eddie was the keystone of our defense," said CB South head coach Tom Hetrick.
