With the Red-White Game scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., the Arkansas Razorbacks are prepared to potentially adjust their plans. "As long as fans are going to come in here, we're going to try to play the game," Coach Sam Pittman said. "To me, that's what the spring game is all about: Letting folks that can't come to practice, or the public, see the team.

IN THE LANE By Tom MurphyLSU leaned on one of its biggest strengths -- free-throw shooting -- to hold off the University of Arkansas for a 78-74 win Tuesday night in Baton Rouge. The Tigers made 26 of 28 free throws, including all 10 it took in the first half and its final 10 of the game. LSU entered as the SEC's third-best free-throw shooting team at 74.9% and improved on that with the 92.9% effort against the Razorbacks.

The Razorbacks (11-5, 0-3 SEC) entered Saturday's matchup against No. 8 Florida shooting at a 21% clip from deep in league play. The percentage was second worst in the SEC, and it took a tumble against the Gators. Arkansas was 3 of 16 (18.8%) from three-point range in a 71-63 loss.

FAYETTEVILLE -- University of Arkansas football Coach Sam Pittman is expected to tap Nick Perry, a defensive quality control coach for the Seattle Seahawks, to fill the position of defensive backs coach for the Razorbacks, sources have told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Perry, a former University of Alabama standout safety, would replace Deron Wilson, who reportedly took the role as defensive coordinator at Georgia State last week.
