VIRGINIA — The man reportedly responsible for stabbing an Iron Range business owner as part of a murder plot nearly four years ago was sentenced Thursday. Dylan Thomas Peterson, 33, of Grand Rapids, received three years for his aiding and abetting second-degree assault conviction in the July 2021 stabbing of Leah Bodas in Babbitt. The sentence, however, is on top of two others he is already serving for unrelated Iron Range stabbings — bringing his total prison term to 13 years.
