    ROBERTS COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — Authorities are on the look out for a man they say committed a violent robbery in Roberts County, and may be headed to the Sioux Falls area. The Roberts County Sheriff’s office says surveillance video shows Jordan Biddell, Junior pointing a black revolver-style BB gun at a store clerk and demanding money. When the clerk didn’t comply, the video shows Biddell striking the clerk in the face with the weapon and firing multiple rounds, injuring the clerk.

    SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office is sounding the alarm over public trust in the justice system. That follows a mistrial declared last Friday after an ICE arrest at the county courthouse. Officials say the arrest happened in front of a witness’s wife and baby while jurors were on break. The judge immediately declared a mistrial. The Public Defender’s Office says the witness had been legally subpoenaed, and the person on trial is a U.S. citizen.
