ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Tuesday, July 9th, 2024: It doesn’t look as hot over the next few days but is still seasonable for July. Isolated showers and a thunderstorm or two will stay in the forecast through the middle of the week as temperatures will be hot...but not too bad. The best chance of rain looks to be in the higher terrain of West TexasCooler weather continues through the majority of the next 10 days.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Wednesday, June 5th, 2024: A weak cool front is on the way... A weak cool front will slide through the Permian Basin early on Wednesday taking a few degrees off the temperatures. North and east of the Pecos River...temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 90s but get into the triple digits for most other areas of West Texas. An isolated shower/t-storm will be possible over the Marfa Plateau but most areas will remain dry.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Friday, March 22nd, 2024: Sunny and warmer weather returns to West Texas over the next few days. An upper-level disturbance will be moving off to the east and allow for drier air to roll in. Clearing skies and warmer temperatures are expected through the start of the weekend as another Pacific storm system arrives late in the weekend. This next system will bring some gusty winds back to the forecast and drop temperatures some into next week.

A flat ridge of high pressure will be moving through West Texas over the next few days keeping temperatures unseasonably warm with just a few high clouds. No real noticeable changes until later in the week when a cold front looks to arrive along with some breezy conditions. Warm temperatures and little change continue over the next few days.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Tuesday, December 19th, 2023: High pressure is in control for the start of the week before Christmas but a couple of Pacific storm systems will bring clouds and showers by the end of the week. Smooth sailing on the weather through Wednesday but then a weak Pacific storm system and cold front look to arrive later on Thursday with a few passing showers and some seasonably cool air.
