Photo by Jesse D. Garrabrant/NBAE via Getty Images It’s finally here. After all the injuries, losses, and late season tank effort, the Sixers’ final game of the season has arrived. And we’re entering Sunday’s early contest against the Bulls on a positive note, too, all things considered. The Sixers have locked up the fifth-best lottery odds, which is not only a good result considering the late start to their tank, but also means all pressure is off for their final game.

Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images Six games. That’s all that stands between us and an offseason break from the slog of these Sixers games. And an anxious wait ahead of the NBA draft lottery... but we’ll get to that soon enough and can focus on the odds in the meantime. For now, the next opponent for the Sixers on Thursday is the Bucks, sitting at 41-34 and sixth place in the East.

Photo by David Dow/NBAE via Getty Images The end is so close. The Sixers have just nine games remaining of this brutal season, following their latest loss on Wednesday to the Wizards — the team with the second-worst record in the league. Next up for Saturday's game, the Sixers are welcoming the Heat to Philadelphia. The Sixers' rotation remains pretty minimal, just as you'd expect.

Photos by Michael Gonzales/NBAE via Getty Images The end is in sight. This brutal Sixers season is finally winding down, with a loss on Sunday against the Hawks taking the team to 23-48. On Monday, the Sixers are finishing off their back-to-back against New Orleans — one of only four teams with a worse record than Philadelphia at 19-52. The Pelicans are also on the second night of a back-to-back, following a 136-130 loss on Sunday against the Pistons.

Photo by Jesse D. Garrabrant/NBAE via Getty Images The Sixers will be pretty happy with their week so far. Three straight losses mean their lottery hopes are continuing to improve. On Sunday afternoon, we’ll see if the losing streak extends to four as they head on the road to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. As you'd expect, the Sixers are still going to have a very short rotation for Sunday's early contest. I mean this literally too — 10 players are out, including most of their center options.
