The rumored Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake has been doing the rounds for quite some time, with many genuinely believing it will be announced and promptly shadow-dropped this month. Of course, there is some credence to these rumors, such as the remake's existence being leaked a while ago during Xbox's acquisition of Activision Blizzard and an untitled remake popping up on the LinkedIn profile of a Virtuos employee, the folks believed to be developing the Oblivion remake.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is getting a surprisingly mixed reception after its first dedicated Direct. While fans are loving the third-party reveals, many are lamenting the lack of first-party launch titles. Some fans are delighted by the plethora of gimmicks, while others see them as being just that. Many are angry at the console's price point and the fact that Nintendo is hiking up the prices of its games in general, and, well, no one is really defending it.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is almost at an end, with the third and final entry looming on the horizon. It follows two incredible games, both of which have built on the foundation of the original game while adding plenty of nuanced changes along the way. Remake and Rebirth are great JRPGs in their own right and well worth playing for those who have yet to experience their majesty.
