AstroFire is an Asteroids variant, but with a few twists: instead of asteroids there are monsters of sorts to shoot at, there are power-ups (two kinds of weapons) and shields (which means a single blow doesn't kill the player character), and players can also set whether or not they want momentum enabled.

An interesting freeware game from Japanese software house OMEGA, Every Extend is a top-down action game (over a 3D background) in which you control a bomb - literally, a bomb - which you must maneuver for maximum damage. Enemy cubes of various kinds move around the playfield and by triggering an explosion at the right moment you can create massive chain reactions which wipe your enemies out.

Players Average score: 3.7 out of 5 (based on 26 ratings with 1 reviews) Good times...good times. The GoodThis is one of the games I grew up with. From the very start, you get placed right in the middle of the action. It just has that...retro feel. The music is awesome, I loved every bit of the title track! It's also always so much fun to get powerups and become an unstoppable death machine. The BadWell, it's really hard in some parts. You never know what's around the corner.

The GoodI was impressed at how well the game was written, and in 1995, the graphics in this game were outstanding....if I could find someone to play against Id love to race again.....the game is cartoonish in a way, and has very humorous comentary. Its not an easy game to play either.....so when you when a race you feel like you accomplished something......they dont make um like they used to that's for sure ;o)The BadThat playing the game died when Mplayer.com did.

The GoodIt is an exellent computerized version of the classic board game Risk. It has all the fun of the board game, without having to roll all those dice. This lets you concentrate on strategy, instead of trying to remember how many dice you get to roll. The best thing about the game, though, is the satisfaction in seeing a board which started out being a hodgepodge of different colors slowly become uniformly yours, untill it is one solid color. The BadThe graphics were weak, even for their time.
