BRUSSELS — EU airports are pushing the European Commission to follow in the tracks of the U.K. and scrap rules limiting European air passengers passing through high tech security checkpoints to 100-milliliter mini bottles. BRUSSELS — A bid to restart a long-stalled update of the EU's scheme to compensate air passengers for delayed or canceled flights is in trouble thanks to blowback from a group of countries led by Germany. BRUSSELS — Business travel bookings from Europe to the United States crashed by more than a quarter in April compared to the same month in 2024, a sign of the widening collapse of positive views of America under Donald Trump. Data shared with POLITICO by London-based HotelHub, a platform specialized in the business travel sector, found that bookings in April were down by 26 percent from a year ago.
