    ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A cold front will sweep through South Georgia this evening, removing rainfall and severe weather. Temperatures will drop behind this front into the 40s and 50s for Tuesday morning under mostly clear skies. Sunny skies and cool highs arrive by Tuesday afternoon as many areas climb into the upper 60s and low 70s. High pressure will continue to build leading to cooler and dry conditions through the mid-week.

    ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The First Alert Weather Day continues until 4 P.M. Monday. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has areas west of I-75 under a severe threat. Areas near the Alabama State line are under a Slight Risk (2 out of 5) for severe storms while areas approaching I-75 are under a Marginal Risk (1 out of 5). The main threat remains a 5% to 15% chance of damaging winds, but a 2% to 5% chance of an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
