There were a couple of significant roster moves this past offseason as they hit the free agency market hard, adding former Florida State star Jameis Winston and veteran signal caller Russell Wilson to the mix while also signing Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The hope is that the three can help turn around a 3-14 team that sat at the bottom of the NFC East last season, but signing the trio under center wasn't the only trick Giants head coach Brian Daboll had up his sleeve.

With a revamped coaching staff in tow, head coach Mike Norvell has seemingly put everything he has into what he and FSU fans feel Florida State football should feel like, especially on defense.

The Florida State Seminoles are two years removed from winning the 2023 ACC Championship in a 16-6 win over Louisville. While most of those players are gone from that roster and the 'Noles are trying to figure out what happened after last year's 2-10 season, there is some optimism brewing around Tallahassee, Florida and in the national media. Florida State will be trying to retool both sides of the ball with new offensive and defensive coordinators Gus Malzahn and Tony White.
