Aerotron and the county, which oversees the LaGrange-Callaway Airport, originally agreed to a pair of leases for land at the airport. One was for 15.5 acres to develop a 270,000-square-foot industrial aviation complex.

Megan Keith was arrested by Department of Natural Resources (DNR) game wardens on Saturday, May 24, charged with boating under the influence and failure to obey a regulatory marker.

Published 9:15 am Thursday, May 29, 2025 Thanks to quick action from lifeguards and other staff at the Don Weatherington Aquatic Center a child was saved over the weekend. On Saturday, May 24, a lifeguard at the William Griggs Center Pool spotted a child outside the facility experiencing a medical emergency approximately 30-40 yards outside the pool fencing as they were walking home along Glenn Robertson Drive.

Published 4:52 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2025 Forty years too late, but the City of LaGrange is taking some responsibility for actions that ruined a man’s life. The City of LaGrange has approved a settlement agreement for the wrongful imprisonment of Terry Lamar Talley, who was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault in 1981. The LaGrange City Council signed off on the settlement on Tuesday, which provides $10,525,000 in total.

A developer, Ken Boatwright, requested the amendment to utilize board and batten pre-engineered color-coated metal panels for commercial construction instead of the city’s current material requirements for exterior cladding.
