    SHEPHERDSTOWN—Jefferson High School faculty, staff and graduates paraded into the Butcher Center at Shepherd University, walking between two rows of Air Force Junior ROTC cadets, making their way to their seats to begin the 53rd Commencement Ceremony. Principal Mary Beth Group welcomed all who gathered to celebrate the achievements of more than 350 students who completed their course of study at Jefferson in 2025.

    SHEPHERDSTOWN—Just over 330 Washington Patriots donned caps and gowns for the 2025 graduation ceremony held at The Butcher Center at Shepherd University. Friends, family members, teachers and administrators stood as ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ ushered the senior class on their final walk of their high school careers. Upon taking their seats following the playing of the National Anthem and a greeting from Principal Donald Showen, students were then met with a question.

    MARTINSBURG—West Virginia State Trooper Bryan arrested Luke Seno, 45, a teacher at Musselman Middle School, on Friday, charging him with 20 counts of sexual assault third degree, 10 counts of sexual assault by a person of trust and 10 counts of soliciting a minor through a computer. A press release issued by the Martinsburg Detachment of the West Virginia State Police indicated that allegations were of an inappropriate relationship involving a teacher and a student at Musselman Middle.

    MARTINSBURG — Amidst blue and gold, the Class of 2025 Faith Christian Academy Falcons gathered to celebrate the completion of a milestone, as 12 seniors took their final official walks, signifying the end of their high school careers. Laughter and tears were shared by students, parents and those who provided their education over the past years. As each of the dozen graduates was called forward, their honors and scholarship awards were shared.
