Texas A&M basketball is off and running under new head coach Bucky McMillan, gaining a big-time recruit Thursday when rising junior forward Mackenzie Mgbako committed to the Aggies. The 6-foot-9 forward from Gladstone, New Jersey, is the highest-rated recruit in A&M history, coming in as a five-star and McDonald's All-American, and was named the Big Ten freshman of the year in 2023. Mgbako just finished his sophomore season at Indiana.
