Described as a hybrid variation of injection molding, extrusion and compression molding, the earliest iteration of the technology was originally developed by Akopyan and his father over 20 years ago, with the first related patent granted in 1999.

The Cooling Tornado Z9665/... can be used in combination with runners in core-cooling systems and directly in the corresponding cooling bores. By creating turbulent flow in the cooling medium, cooling effectiveness can be increased by up to 20%, depending on the flow rate in l/min.
