    Global animal feed production edged up by 1.2% in 2024 to reach 1.396 billion metric tonnes, according to Alltech’s Agri-Food Outlook. But while most livestock sectors saw gains, pig feed production recorded a decline of 0.6%, dropping to 369.3 million tonnes.
