This is not a “HAHAHA” moment in Canadian Comedy!Sadly The Just For Laughs Festival is cancelled in 2024 due to restructuring. In a statement from Groupe Juste pour rire inc. (JPR) The festival will not go ahead this year but that “hopes” the festival will return in 2025. A few days ago the comedy festival in Montreal was also cancelled seeking protection from its creditors as it begins formal restructuring under Canada’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
