It appears that some distance from Washington, D.C. has given Tesla CEO Elon Musk some clarity about President Donald Trump and his economic agenda. Trump has repeatedly said that balancing the budget was one of his top priorities. In fact, during a recent cabinet meeting, he said that his drive to balance the federal budget was one of the main reasons he won so handily last November. The Department of Government Efficiency was supposed to be a big part of that drive.

As weird as it seems, Tesla  (TSLA)  is still a small startup compared to its more established rivals. Yes, CEO Elon Musk is the world's richest man, and Tesla is one of the most high-profile and highly valued car brands, but Tesla doesn't sell nearly as many vehicles as its counterparts. Ford had a rough first quarter, with revenue declining 5% to $40.7 billion. That was more than double the $19 billion in auto revenue Tesla reported in the same period.

Fresh off of his recent departure from the White House, Tesla CEO Elon Musk gave CBS News an exclusive interview over the weekend. Musk is returning to work full time at Tesla, leaving the side quest he has been on since January as the head of DOGE.

The political version of this saying goes something like, elections have consequences. Over the past few months, President Donald Trump's supporters have used this phrase to defend his reformation edicts as he pursues the agenda on which he campaigned. For the business community, those consequences have hurt a bit.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk loved Twitter long before he purchased it. Musk has been a frequent poster on the social media network for years, often sharing his thoughts on everything from the mundane to the profane. He's also gotten himself and Tesla into trouble on the social media platform in the past. Back on August 7, 2018, Musk tweeted, "Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured."This tweet led to a class action lawsuit filed by Tesla shareholders, who claimed it was misleading.

Opposing fanbase absolutely melt down when their shitty teams lose to us 🤣. As a Washington Nationals fan in 2025, how can you not be having fun.
