(FOX 5/KUSI) — A Fallbrook teenager is one step closer to performing at one of the world’s most prestigious concert venues, thanks to the support of his community. 14-year-old Micah Clemens has been selected to play trumpet at the WorldStrides Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City this June. It’s an honor reserved for just 350 middle school students nationwide out of nearly 10,000 applicants.

Jose Hector Ruiz was arrested in February 2024 in Alpine after authorities found 720,000 fentanyl pills inside his vehicle.
