Before 2020, 2019 was dubbed by some as “The Year of the Protest” which had much to do with national and international political upheaval. Little did we know, we were only scratching the surface of what would come. There were also plenty of firsts like the first all-women spacewalk by NASA astronauts. Plus, there was tons of good music to listen to!2019 was a huge year for women in pop with artists like Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift taking top spots for their albums.
