Another one of Alabama basketball's marquee matchups next season has a date. According to a report from Made For March, the Crimson Tide will take on Illinois on Nov. 19 inside Chicago's United Center. The matchup is the return leg from last season's game, which saw Alabama beat Illinois, 100-87, inside Birmingham's Legacy Arena. Alabama has already had dates revealed for a pair of non-conference games this next season. The Tide will host Purdue on Nov. 13 inside Coleman Coliseum.

Shopping season has officially started back up around college football. The spring transfer portal window is now open for undergraduates and will remain active until April 25. Alabama brought in seven scholarship players during the winter window and will likely make a few more additions over the next few weeks. Conversely, the Crimson Tide will also have to deal with a few departures, as players look for bigger roles elsewhere.

A date has been set for one of Alabama basketball's biggest games next season. After traveling to Purdue last year, the Crimson Tide will host the Boilermakers on Nov. 13 inside Coleman Coliseum. The tipoff time for the game has yet to be announced. This year's matchup is the return leg of a home-and-home series between the two schools. Alabama suffered an 87-78 defeat at Purdue last season. The two teams also squared off in 2023 in Toronto as part of the Hall of Fame Series.

Kalen DeBoer describes what he wants from Alabama's next quarterback “We want that playmaker. I don’t want just a game manager. If we’re going to win at the level we want to win, we want a guy that’s going to produce, make the big plays.” https://t.co/vndHCFZDGS

Kalen DeBoer on Alabama's QB competition: "All of them are getting better... We don't feel like we're to the point where there's separation."
