Franciscan Wheatfield Health Center will be offering sports physicals for students this summer on Wednesday, June 11, Wednesday, June 25 and Tuesday, July 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central each day. Immunization records and any required physicals forms should be brought to the appointment. Immunizations will not be administered at the appointment. Physicals are $35, payable by check or credit card. Franciscan Wheatfield Health Center is located at 492 South Bierma Street in Wheatfield.

Franciscan Health WorkingWell is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The program offers comprehensive occupational health services to businesses and industry. Franciscan first introduced WorkingWell in June 2005 as a regional initiative. Since then, the program has grown to encompass 18 WorkingWell offices in northwest Indiana, central Indiana, western Indiana and the south Chicago suburbs. Growth and innovation have been key components of the program.

Franciscan Health's Prenatal Assistance Program, part of the Franciscan Health Foundation, has teamed up with the Benton Community Food & Service Co-Op and the Benton Community Foundation to form the Benton County Diaper Pantry. The diaper pantry will provide free baby diapers and adult incontinence diapers to those who are eligible.

Franciscan Health and Jasper County Purdue Extension will be hosting the Jasper County Wellness Walk on four consecutive Fridays, beginning on May 23 and running through June 13. Each walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Brookside Park/Weston Cemetery in Rensselaer. The Jasper County Wellness Walk provides an opportunity for participants to enjoy the outdoors as the weather warms and build healthy habits. The event will begin with a brief wellness lesson prior to a one-mile walk.

RENSSELAER, Ind. - Franciscan Health in collaboration with Purdue University Extension, Strack & Van Til Food Market, Indy Hunger Network and CookingMatters.org will be hosting a class entitled "Cooking Matters" on Wednesday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselaer.
