ILCAs at the Queen Mary Summer Series Week 2 by Mark Lyttle & Tony Woods 10 Jun 14:23 BST Race 1 (by Mark Lyttle) Doing a couple of half windward legs before the start, I felt there were frequent large shifts and gusts meaning the sides would be dangerous and the right side approaching the windward mark may have less wind in general.

Queen Mary Sailing Club Spring Series Week 4 by Tony Woods & Guy Noble 2 Apr 10:02 BST Saturday's rather warm and balmy weather increased the anticipation for what would hopefully be the first genuinely spring-like day of Sunday racing. Although it was a refreshing 10-18 knt easterly that greeted the 22 ILCA sailors who made it out for races 7 and 8 of the Spring Series, the racing was terrific. Michael Pryer (RO) and team set a great course and managed to take some photos.

Queen Mary Sailing Club Spring Series Week 3 by Tony Woods 25 Mar 08:50 PDT 19 ILCAs turned out for the third week of the QM Spring Series and were greeted with a chilly, shifty, gusty westerly (300° average) wind, ranging from 7-24 knts according to the QM Live Wind! Chilled Champagne sailing! Race One The fleet got away first time with Neil Peters (aka Stick Daring) looking good towards the port end of the line.

ILCAs in the Frostbite Series 2023/24 at Queen Mary Sailing Club - Week 9 by Tony Woods 19 Feb 14:37 GMT Race 1 Eighteen ILCAs turned out for races 17 and 18 on week 9 of the QMSC Frostbite Series- the rain had passed and RO Mike Pryer set a good 4 lap course in the 10-18 knt westerly wind. Chris Ellyatt, Guy Noble and Michael Hicks were just back from the Masters Worlds in Australia and were keen to get going.

The 170+ entries for the Bloody Mary gone, it was back to blue sky and a good breeze at QM. An impressive turnout this week for the continuation of the QM Frostbite Series.
