Autistic people deserve to live healthy and fulfilling lives of their own design. Yet, despite enormous advances in autism science, the lives of Autistic1 people remain profoundly difficult. Autistic children, young people and adults experience intergenerational inequalities – in life expectancy, physical and mental health, education, employment, and social life (see Pellicano, Hall, et al., 2022, for review).
