24th June 2025 Boca Juniors’ clash with Auckland City on Tuesday became the fifth match to be hit by a weather suspension at the Club World Cup. Shortly after the New Zealanders struck to cancel out Boca’s opener, players and fans were told to retreat inside because of a storm warning in the area around Geodis Park stadium in Nashville. Boca fans were reluctant to leave the stands and stayed chanting and waiting for the match to resume. The match was suspended in the 55th minute.

Metuh confirmed that Omokri was indeed the one who hired Showunmi, following a recommendation from him.
