Jodie Bryant hosts Discover Live, where she searches for up-and-coming artists, putting them on stage, sometimes for the first time, in front of around 100 people. To some, this may be daunting, but for these guys, it was exhilarating. The energy through every act stayed at such a high level. We could not fault it. The Grace in London has seen its fair share of iconic artists, from Emma Blackery to The Crawlers.

After a last-minute venue change, Bradley Simpson took on his third night at Village Underground in London. Opening the show with ‘Getting Clear’ was a power move; with his debut album, The Panic Years, due to come out in February, it was the perfect little teaser. He played a lot of his upcoming album, which sets the scene perfectly ahead of his bigger tour next year. Which by the way, you can still purchase tickets for.

Sum 41, the men, the myths, the legends. Whilst they are disbanding after this tour, they have albums on top albums you can still enjoy. Like most, we first really heard of them through their hit songs ‘Fat Lip’ and ‘In Too Deep.’ Which were released…a while ago… but let’s not talk about age here. The Tour of the Setting Sum is hitting as many cities in as many countries as it can before we all have to say goodbye (for now) to the band.

In light of Halloween Eve, Black Veil Brides and Creeper played a co-headline show at Wembley Arena in London. If there’s one way to make Halloween more exciting, it has to be going to a gig, right? Trick-or-treating isn’t always socially acceptable for adults, so why not grab your drinks and snacks and scream your heart out to some classic metal tunes? It just felt fitting for the season.

JLS fans, do we have a treat for you! Aston Merrygold recently headlined the O2 Sheperds Bush Empire in London and we got a front-row seat. Since the band’s inception, we have gotten incredible music from JLS and solo music from Aston over the past decade. It’s really the best of both worlds. Aston began his solo career with his debut single ‘Get Stupid’ in 2015, which is an undeniable banger. Hearing it live had us on the floor, shaking every body part that could shake.

ONE OK ROCK came back to London, it took them just over a year this time. But their growth as a band from performing at Eventim Apollo, to performing at Wembley Arena, has been incredible. With their new single ‘Delusion:All’ behind them, it is only fitting to take that energy on tour. With bigger production, a new wardrobe, and even more fans than before, the Premonition World Tour is coming at us thick and fast. They stormed the stage with high energy from the get-go.

To celebrate the band being together for 21 years, McFly performed two shows back-to-back at the O2. They brought back every single album and played essentially, a setlist full of their greatest hits, with some songs having their first performance in 8 years. ‘I Wanna Hold You,’ ‘Sorry’s Not Good Enough,’ ‘Bubble Wrap,’ and ‘iF U C Kate,’ were some of the songs that made it onto their setlist.

Pixie Lott debuted her 4th studio album at an intimate album-release show in London. Performing to a packed-out crowd in such a small venue made the show feel much more personal. The production was still as incredible as you’d want it to be at an arena show, with backup vocalists and a full band, the energy never dipped. She scattered songs like ‘Cry Me Out’ and ‘Girls and Boys’ throughout the setlist.

We went all the way to Bournemouth to see The Vamps absolutely blow the roof off the O2 Academy. Meet The Vamps celebrates its 10th birthday this year and the band has performed a total of 13 shows across the country. Playing to a sold out show, at any point in your career is exhilarating and The Vamps managed to push that energy into the crowd amazingly. Brad was up and down the equipment, Connor and James were running around the stage and Tristan was going absolutely wild behind the drums.

Eventim Apollo hosted Paloma Faith, and it was a complete show-stopper. We’ve never been to this venue when it’s been seated “stalls” for a show, but there were rows upon rows of seats filled with people there to enjoy Paloma’s show!She came out hot and heavy with ‘There’s Nothing More Human Than Failure.’ There was no warm-up, no easing into this show, it was intense from the get-go. The vocals were off the charts instantly, from belting high notes to lyrics that really pull you in.
