The Eagle-Tribune is forming a Reader Advisory Board composed of people who care deeply about local news to offer input and weigh in on issues affecting communities in our coverage area and beyond. The board will include citizens who closely follow news in their city or town, across the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire, and state, national and world issues. Students are welcome to apply. kAm(6’== 8:G6 J@F 2 ?6HDC@@> 2?5 AC6DD E@FC 2E E96 @FED6E[ E96? 86E 5@H?

John Celestino was a champion to his people. He was our cheerleader, a great boss. He lifted us up. So of course, when we learned about John’s sudden passing, recently, we were shocked and saddened. Today, though, a couple weeks later, I want to set that sadness aside and celebrate the essence of a man who was determined, smart, giving — and yes — impatient and goofy sometimes. We liked that. He made work fun.
