Hello, and welcome to my Substack. Remember if you want to support my writing, you can do so by becoming a paid subscriber, buying me a one-off Ko-fi or buying one of my books. Or all of my books. You know, as a treat. So, another slightly different Substack this week, because I have a (minor - I’m fine!) surgery lined up and want to give myself plenty of downtime to recover. Hello, and welcome to my Substack. Remember if you want to support my writing, you can do so by becoming a paid subscriber, buying me a one-off Ko-fi or buying one of my books. Or all of my books. You know, as a treat. When I first moved back to Newcastle from Brighton – having spent nearly two decades down South, most of that in London – I admit I had a fairly dim view of what the region’s theatre scene would be (dare I say it - a Southerner’s view?).
