To the Editor:This year, the South Burlington City Council did not provide a donation to the The Infinite Youth Center that has been operating at the University Mall in South Burlington for over three years. I want to clarify that I’m not upset or blaming the city council for this. The situation arose from different funding streams and some miscommunication.

To the Editor:The Infinite Youth Center has been operating at the University Mall in South Burlington for over three years. The city and other organizations and individuals have consistently donated to Trinity Educational Center. The city did not donate this year, which is disastrous for a small non-profit, considering it was our most significant donor. Now that the University Mall is under new management, we must pay for utilities, which are expensive for a 1,700 square foot space with no ceiling.

To the Editor:Last year, the South Burlington School District could not participate in the summer meal program. Trinity Educational Center Inc. stepped in and prepared over 300 meals weekly. The South Burlington Rotary Club donated funds so the center could begin preparing meals instead of being forced to wait for U.S. Department of Agriculture funding. I am unsure if the school district will be allowed to participate in the summer meal program.
