In June, the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles announced it was taking a programmatic pause at the Mark Taper Forum and undergoing restructuring. Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre Company released a statement that it was trimming staff and productions. After 20 seasons, Triad Stage in Greensboro, N.C. closed its doors.
