It happened last night at bedtime. It was late – much, much later than it should have been in terms of my children going to bed. The day had run away from me, we had just said goodbye to friends who had stayed with us for the past week, the house was in a state, I was stressed because we are leaving for a week’s holiday this weekend and I had not started doing laundry for it yet, never mind packing.
