Scania has delivered the first of 165 new trucks to Bidcorp UK. The foodservice group has ordered a mix of 18-tonne P250 4x2 NA, 26-tonne P280 6x2 NA and tractor units. Due to be in operation for at least 10 years, the trucks replace some units that have been part of the fleet for more than 13 years. The new vehicles are expected to cover between 30,000 to 50,000 miles annually moving products from Bidcorp depots to customer delivery destinations.

Jan Kohlmeier will assume the role of MD of MAN Truck & Bus UK from 1 August 2025. Kohlmeier is currently the MD of MAN Truck & Bus in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, a position he’s held since 2020. Kohlmeier first joined MAN Truck & Bus in 2004 and has since worked in aftersales, sales and product management. His skills have been applied in various different parts of the world across Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific. He will take over from Stefan Thyssen who has been MD for the UK since 2021.
