All eyes turn to Basel in Switzerland, as Britain pins its hopes on Remember Monday, a country-pop trio composed of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele. Their preppy entry – What the Hell Just Happened? – is certainly not a national disgrace. On the face of it, it’s a better song than Olly Alexander’s dire and dreary Dizzy, which placed a middling 18th with 46 points at last year’s final.
